Review: Mirrors

Congratulations mirrors on always being there to point out my faults. However did you guess that I wanted to know my hair, fresh from waking up after a restless night of almost sleep, looked like a tidal wave heading east to west. I'm so glad you could point out my bleary, bloodshot eyes while commenting on choice of sleepwear. If I had known I would be receiving such a harsh critique so early in the morning I would have worn a suit to bed.

I must say that I really appreciate the way you looked on with unblinking eye when I stumbled in at 2am, 3am and 4am. It was great that you could highlight the dark circles under my eyes. Indeed I wonder what it would be like if the rest of the world were as honest as you. If every time I walked up to someone the first words out of their mouths was something about my complexion or my choice of shirt, can you imagine what great place this would be?

All said do I feel angry? No. For when I hold a mirror up to you to show you what you're like, you see an infinite replicates of yourself. It's a hollow sort of existence being a mirror; forever showing others faults and never being able to look upon your own. Only as perfect as what you're reflecting. There's no warmth in your soulless picture show.

On the plus side once my face was washed and hair combed, you did say that I looked much better. Small consolation, but I appreciate your effort.

  1. Great not only am I now afraid of mirrors because of all the mirror scary stories at creepypasta.com, but now I'm paranoid about being judged by them. :p lol. Cute non review.

  2. I hadn't seen that Creepypasta site before. It's pretty cool.
