Overheard Conversations: Lemmings

"You going to the game this Friday?"
"Nah, I've got better things to do."
"What's better than showing up to support your team?"
"Have you seen our team? Anything's better."
"They're just going through a rough patch."
"Rough? Sandpaper is a rough patch. They're going through a wood chipper patch."
"Have you no loyalty? Everyone else will be there."
"And? If everyone jumped off a bridge would you?"
"Uh, yeah..."

  2. Hilarious *and* educational. Your punchline prompted me to do a bit of, oh yeah baby, wikipedia research. Do you know about Ole Worm?

  3. Freakin' followers. I just can't have a conversation with a Lemming. I once asked them what was all about that 'jumpin off a cliff thing' and he couldn't really describe their motivations to my satifaction. It was very frustrating - more so when I threw him off a cliff and about ten of his buddies waiting for him in the car just got out and followed him to their doom. They are so useless as shock troops because EVERYONE knows their Achilles Heel. And, unlike what you would think, they don't taste like chicken. They taste like Lemming which is something that even ketchup can't make appealing.

  4. Oh and Anna, I love TS like a brother but PLEASE don't encourage him. Then his site will only be about crayons and lego and lemmings. You say 'no way' now but he will do it. Just out of spite he will do it.

  6. "And? If everyone jumped off a bridge would you?"

"Only if I'm not too busy doing your mama."

See? Animals love the mama jokes. Even lemmings!

  8. Anna, I looked him up. That was a funny contribution he made to the understanding of lemmings.

Kal, I feel like you're tempting me into making an article about crayons, legos and lemmings. Hilarious commentary on the lemmings man.

    Camel, touche. lol

Rek, That's a great image, the rodent tied to a big string... I'd pay a quarter to see that.

    Ms. A, Thanks.

  11. Nope, nope, I am going resist. I will not let myself talk about lemmings. I always end up mentioning Disney when people talk about Lemmings, but I refuse to do so this time. Nope, nope.

  14. KAL!!! You spoke to me! I've felt like Prince since the name change... You didn't know what to call me, so you didn't call me anything at all.

Cal and Cotton, together again at last. Let's fight about something.
