CLEVERer and Iron Man 2 prop giveaway

If you've followed this blog for awhile you've probably realized by now that I have a passion for independent film. The gems that have to fight their way against every obstacle to get made. Usually they're driven more by story and a love for the art, rather than big budgets.

So when I saw that one of the new bloggers I've begun following was promoting an indie project, I naturally took interest. Clark Schaffer (husband of said newly followed blogger) has been involved in visual and special effects for movies for years. Now, he's looking to take that experience and roll it into making indie films. To get the ball rolling he's got a fundraiser going at kickstart. For contributions on every level he's raffling off various cool items.

Rather than me going on though, why not check out what he has to say, including what the movie is about:

Now, if you have some extra cash and want to get your name in the credits or go for a prize, awesome. But really I just love the sound of the movie. Quirky, sci-fi, comedy... All words I like. What I would like to do is suggest you stop over at his wife, Jo Schaffer's, blog to read about a different contest that's going on.

Iron Mas 2 Mask

By blogging about the movie, tweeting, or Facebooking it, you can receive multiple entries into a raffle where the prize is the face plate for the Iron Man 2 mask. How killer is that?

Cool as the prize is, I'm more interested in seeing the finished project. Which is why I'm telling you fine people about it. I know I have some followers who are geeks like me, and I hope you'll get involved. So, get on it like a monkey on a cupcake, and hopefully soon we'll all be kicking back in a theater with a little popcorn, enjoying a great flick.

  1. I'm curious - was the gator named Pete for a reason? Or just random?

  4. Wow! what a talent. I like how he cyborged the chair. The iron man mask would look great on my non-mantle.
