The Real Amazing Spider-Man

Pfftt. Not so amazing if you ask me. Anyone can look good with a big budget. Here on the other hand is a fan film from Donald Glut. Glut is well known for his amateur films he made as a teenager. He went to film school with George Lucas and even penned the novelization of Empire Strikes Back. For awhile he was in a band that was produced by Mike Nesmith. He's also worked as a writer on many cartoons over the years, including, yes, Spider-Man. Pretty much he's had his hand in just about every section of the entertainment industry.

In 1969, an avid fan of comic books, he created this beauty. I love the car scene at the end.

  1. 1969? Surprised the film didn't deteriorate.

  2. TS, now that's what I call low-budget film making! Pretty funny too.
