What Cats Are Saying About The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey

We once again went out into the streets to find out the opinions of local cats. This time we wanted to know what they thought of Peter Jackson's first part of his new trilogy The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.

'Sir Reginald Plumperdink'
"Turning a children's book into three movies is crazy. It's that kind of decadent, excessive, culture that's bringing this country down. Now if you'll excuse me, there's a bacon wrapped stick of butter with my name on it.'

'Mrs. Kisses'
"This whole 48 FPS thing ticks me off! It's all crap. What? No, I haven't seen it for myself yet. I don't need experience to back up my opinions. Peter Jackson is dead to me. Fact."

'Nibbles'
"Actually I'm quite excited to see the new film. I loved LOTR and I'm excited to see Martin Freeman in the role.... Meow."

'The Duchess Gary Cooper'
"Was that Adam Storke?! Holy hell, he's a cat now? ...Good for him."

'Melvin'
"...."
Melvin, you're on.
"...."
Melvin?
"...."
MELVIN!!!
"Okay... I ate the chipmunk, I'm sorry."

  1. Your picture of Nibbles made me laugh. I read one blogger's review and it was negative. I'm not rushing to see the movie.

  2. Melvin steals the show again!
Saw the movie yesterday. A little long, but really good. Different from the LOTR.

  3. I am afraid of having too much to take in given the additions to the story, the weird frame speed and the 3D effects. I will go to a matinee next week when I can put into the time without stressing msyelf out too much in a crowd.

  5. I'm going to see the movie tomorrow ... My only fear is that I'm an old man and will be seeing the movie after work so I know I'll be sleepy.

Other than that, good job Melvin. There are a few other "singers" I wouldn't mind you visiting ...
