Let me put songs in your head Vol. 10

Monday Monday... so good to me. Yeah, I'm not actually going to post any Mamas & the Papas, though I do love them. I'm not really in the mood. That line just has a tendency to jump into my head when I write Monday posts. And who am I to deny it it's voice?

Today I'm choosing some songs that to me somehow or another feel like spring.
Anyways, click on the Artist\Title to visit a youtube video of said song.

Stephen Fretwell - Run - This song is probably best well known as the theme for Gavin & Stacey, a really excellent Britcom that is a sometimes overly cute but an extremely funny show. The song is one of those ones that I can't listen to all the time as it moves a bit slow. But it's also one that if I hear a piece of, I have to go and listen to the whole thing or it will stay in my head for weeks. Plus I love the lyrics.

The Mostar Diving Club - The Honey Tree - You might recognize this from a Honda commercial. The song is simple, and seemingly delicate, with just the right amount of whimsy. And it definitely feels like springtime.

Sondre Lerche - To Be Surprised - Lerche is a Norwegian singer who... is really hit and miss for me. Maybe it's cause a lot of his stuff is translated, I don't know. Some of his music is really interesting, but a lot of it is just boring. This song however from the Dan in Real Life soundtrack is quite excellent. The music is delightfully bright and trippy, and the vocals are perfect for driving around with the windows rolled down, singing happily along to them.
