Has a bit of foxtrot humor to it. Very cute.
Very cute! Made me smile this morning!
Ah, but now the mystery is waiting to be solved: Can the man actually hear and understand the alligator, or is the alligator just talking to itself?
Did you do the art because this is the work of shattering genius compared to the workmanlike images that usually accompany your humorous comics?I like the telepathic relationship between the two. I just don't see this story ending well for any human involved at all. Call my a 'glass half-empty' kinda guy but to paraphrase Chris Rock - "That alligator didn't go crazy, that alligator went alligator!"
Heehee!!! Love it.So reminds me of a picture I have of my sister holding my daughter when she was a newborn. My sister looked totally out of her element and had a funny looking face. I added the caption (from the baby's thoughts) that said the exact same thing!
I love this. Keep going with this series. You're onto something really good! xo
So little dialogue yet so much drama. Well done.
That was so funny! I can't wait to see this stuff in my sunday LA Times...There is nothing you can't do!I've been gone for a week and your blog was my first stop (of course). You never disappoint!
Crocodile Dundee???...maybe they need pet - owner theraphy to reach a kind of truce and understanding... ;) you are a genius....
I am seeing a budding cartoonist here, with a strip in the newspaper!Keep going, I want more 'Adventures with Pete'!
Ooh, this one is my favorite so far. Ditto the keep going messages!
So...after I look at your awesome comic last night, the next post in my google line-up is from some blogging about blogging blog and the writer said that when it comes to checking out something new, human beings will instinctively ask, "Can I eat it? Will it kill me? Can I have sex with it?" to help them assess the situation. And then I remembered the guy looking at the alligator in your comic and I thought, "I wonder if that's what he's thinking?" - GPS. Where can I read more of your comic strip? I like!
