P is For: Playlist

I don't know about you, but I need music to get through the day. I thought it would be fun to take a look at a few songs that are on my playlist each week and to find out what you all are listening to.

This week's picks:

The Ink Spots - I don't want to set the world on fire

I love how every Ink Spots vid on youtube has someone complaining about how the intro to all their songs is the same.

Brave Saint Saturn - Estrella

From one of my favorite albums, I'm usually not in the mood for this one but its time came up this week.

From the holy to the profane...

Scissor Sisters - I Can't Decide

Warning: This song contains a couple naughty words.

I pretty much fell in love with this song from the first few seconds in. It's so darn catchy that it just pops up in my head from time to time demanding to be listened to.

I want this column to be interactive, trading music suggestions with each other so expect this question at the end of each post: What are you listening to this week?

  6. I actually do like the Ink Spots--Danny Kaye does a parody of the Ink Spots in his movie The Inspector General--makes me laugh. (=
Lately I'm listening to Sinatra, 30 Seconds to Mars and Gavin Rossdale... But my tastes are so far flung and ecclectic I will listen to opera, rap, oldies, big band, punk, pop, house, whatev...(= Sigh. I love music.
