Not Safe For Home #6

Comics! Or would it be comic, as it's only one? There's four panels so... You know what, I'm over thinking this.

  1. TS, I am really loving these. They always get at least a snort out of me. I also like the little bonus comic at the top.

I've wondered the same thing about comic(s). I do think it's comic (singular) though. What you have up there is a "comic strip" not a "comics strip"... Great. This over-thinking thing is contagious.

PS,TS) Your comment to me about an "I could be choking" ring tone, was hilarious. Top notch.

  2. Nah, the friend would taste more like Dried Octopus.

PS. Still loving the comics. Or comic. Gah!

  3. Fantastic.

Only problem is that I now have a hankering for an octo-treat. Yum.

  4. Doesn't everything taste like chick? Another great strip Tim. I look forward to them...

  5. Octo-treats. I feel like something I have talked about has seeped into your subconcious and it only makes things better. I feel like your 'Franklin' character is only making one appearance - then the alligator can sleep the sleep of the full bellied reptile.

  6. Cotton, I think you're right. For just a moment I had some brain fog.

Music, Thank you. Glad you're enjoying them.

    Camel, I bet they're nutritious.

Pat, Thank you sir. I hope you get feeling better!

Kal, My 'Franklin' character is going to be a regular, complete with lines and all. In fact next week's strip he won't even have a white counterpart. Though I haven't given him a name yet... I could call him Franklin out of a perverse sense of humor.
And the Octo-treats is actually a subtle homage to you sir.

  8. Gator does in fact taste very chicken-ish. Someone should immediately inform the friend.

  9. Why does everything taste like chicken except for us. That is why the even the sharks don't like the taste of us and rarely take more than a single bite...I learned that from Shark Week don't you know?

  10. Tim this is a great strip...I look forward to it like a good chicken dinner!

  11. Another cute, funny cartoon. (I'm calling it that, so as to bypass the comic vs. comics thing.)
I appreciate the characters' ethnic diversity too. It's politically correct, in addition to creative. Kudos.

  14. Ha ha ha!! LOVE IT!!!! Gotta love an alligator (yikes, or is it a croc?) that is as snarky as I am!

  15. Just when I thought the punchline "tastes like chicken" wasn't original or funny anymore, you go and do this. Holy crap, that's some funny shiz. Seriously, you've turned a cliche into a classic. Tell me again why you aren't syndicated yet? - G

  18. That was really funny. I think this strip is getting better and better. I'm so glad you started it and are keeping it going.

People, however, do not taste like chicken. Trust me.
